All of the meat we supply has full traceability.
Martins Meats has a team of highly skilled award winning master Butchers who
will prepare any specific cuts of meat that you may require. We can advise
you on different cuts of meat and how to prepare and cook them. Hygiene
is of the utmost importance and all staff have been trained in level 1 and
2 hygiene.

Martin's Meats are members of the Farm Assured Scheme. Our membership
number is 5141. This is a quality assured scheme and has strict
checks in place. We are also a member of Freedom foods and ABM which governs
the transportation of livestock and welfare of animals in transit. Our membership
number is 0361.0001.
The animals are collected by our own ABMc approved livestock
vehicles and taken to the nearest abattoir in Gloucester. This is monitored
by the RSPCA.
The very highest welfare standards are met by us on the farm
and in transit to the local abattoir. No animal travels further than
25 miles to the local welfare approved abattoir. Martins Meats is contributing
to reducing the miles our food travels by using a local abbatoir and farms.
